CONCLUSIONS

Finally, we can conclude that even though bilingualism and being bilingual has so many meanings, we have been able to learn that being bilingual has characteristics that give us an idea of what it is to be bilingual in the first place, we can find that from each context, environment, educational training, migration and daily life, we can understand what a bilingual person is like.

It also tells us about the fact that bilingualism and biculturalism are not necessarily coextensive, because not all bilinguals are bicultural, this is because some can learn a second language, but they will continue to live their culture, that of their mother tongue. It is recognized by three types, coordinative bilingualism, Compound bilingualism, and South-border bilingualism according to Weinreich, they have been classified in this way, with the idea of understanding a little more about this what has to do with being or not being bilingual.

Biculturalism has an impact on the knowledge of language and language processing, it is very important to know these concepts because it will contribute to the learning of each one of us, as explained by biculturalism, which is a few words that tell us that we can also learn from other cultures.
